Thwaites Hotels are delighted to introduce seasonal game dishes to the Taste of the Season menu across all their hotel restaurants in the House of Daniel Thwaites, in partnership with British Game Assurance. This initiative was launched this year to help all the hotel kitchen teams improve the use of British game on restaurant menus.
Thwaites have teamed up with British Game Assurance, and are especially grateful for the support of BGA Commercial Director Mark Staples. Over the summer Mark arranged demonstrations and cook offs to develop the use and understanding of British game across the Thwaites Hotel group, ensuring their kitchen teams are ready for the game season. Mark said:
“BGA are delighted to be working with The Daniel Thwaites Hotel Collection on bringing the best of British Game to their Hotels and Customers. Working in collaboration with their team of talented Chefs, they will bring some innovative twists on classics. The Assurance scheme and British provenance played a major part in their selection of BGA suppliers.”
Andrew Hollett, General Manager at the Kettering Park Hotel and Spa said:
“We recognise that British game is an underused, healthy and delicious source of protein and the BGA provides our chefs a reassurance that the meat supplied is reared to high standards of welfare via approved butchers who supply the game our kitchens. We are excited to have been given some new ideas on how game can be cooked and served to delicious effect”
All the hotel kitchens across will be featuring delicious game dishes from September and they are excited to present such a wonderful range of British ingredients to their diners across the House of Daniel Thwaites estate which features hotels from Penrith in Cumbria to Fareham in Hampshire. www.houseofdanielthwaites.co.uk
