The BGA has been proud to support a brand new initiative aiming to help feed the key NHS workers during this unprecedented time.
The new ‘Hospitality for Heroes’ crowd-funding initiative was established to thank and feed those on the COVID-19 frontline by using available professional chefs whilst supporting hospitality suppliers.
The BGA was proud to support this from the outset by facilitating its stockists to help the initiative, with special thanks to Willo Game for donating 80KG of fresh Venison meat.
Nick James, Director of Willo Game said,
“Willo Game is delighted to contribute some prime venison to the ‘Hospitality for Heroes’ initiative. Good quality food not only feeds the body but also the mind. We hope that these wonderful people, who are working selflessly during these extraordinary times, will find time to enjoy the food and gain additional strength from it.”
Louisa North, Head of Operations at the British Game Alliance said,
“The BGA were pleased to be able to to help facilitate the relationship between these two brilliant partners. Willo Game has been so kind in donating a total of 80KG quality Venison to provide healthy, free meals to NHS workers on the frontline of this pandemic.”
The first Venison meals were delivered as part of 100 larger care packages for NHS workers at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London.
